Wouldn’t Want To Lose Your Love (April Wine)
I remember being a teenager in high school in Ottawa and April Wine playing at school dances. It was amazing being right up close to this legendary band. They have so many awesome songs and this is just one of them.
I decided to give this song a try using the Roland GR-33 guitar synthesizer to play some organ and piano parts. I added the electric rhythm and a short ad lib solo at the end. It’s all a bit rough, single take recording, no repeats … just get it down and get it done. No time to add drums although that would certainly be a nice touch.
